Let Me Breathe

Despite the constant overt fan service Kojima shoved onto Quiet, she might well be one of my favourite characters in video games. Underneath that overly sexist design is a well crafted character, who's motivations and meanings are rife for interpretation and thought. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is easily my game of the year (this includes a year with Arkham Knight, Mortal Kombat X and Elite: Dangerous), with Fallout 4 being the only hope to even match it. Sure, MGSV has it's problems, I'm not calling it a perfect game, but I've put about 130 hours into it so far, and I don't want to stop yet (I'm currently starting a 'The Boss' playthrough, stripped down equipment, only gun I can use is a customised gun to look like her Patriot). Quiet is a big part of why I think this game is so damn good.
